ENDORSEMENTS FOR MUSIC FOR YOUNG CHILDREN:
The Music for Young Children program has to be counted as the dominant force in the musical training of young children in Canada today. Many of the new students arriving each year in my studio are graduates of Music for Young Children. They arrive superbly prepared and well motivated for further study. MYC teachers have found the right balance. They successfully blend the pleasure and joy of music making with the rigour of a well-crafted pedagogical progression. ~ Marc Widner, Chief Examiner emeritus, Royal Conservatory Music Examinations
MYC provides the necessary structure for learning to take place while allowing children the freedom to think. Children
are empowered to set goals in their music learning while experiencing a playful, positive environment.
~ Barbara Coloroso, Educator/Author of "Kids are Worth It!"
Music for Young Children is a fantastic group. If you have any kids that are involved in the arts and music -- I can't recommend highly enough that they become a part of Music for Young Children. It's a wonderful, wonderful program. And, if I had a kid here, I would sign them up tomorrow morning with this group because they do a great job!
